Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Professional to join our team as we grow. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of residential properties, ensuring top-notch service that exceeds expectations. 

Pay: $20 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform general house cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

• Deep clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas according to company standards. 

• Handle laundry, bed-making, and light organizing as needed.

• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Follow assigned schedules and complete tasks within the given timeframe.

• Communicate professionally with clients and address their cleaning needs.

• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or supply shortages to management.

• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required (training provided).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Physical stamina to handle cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods up to 25 pounds and for 8 hours a day. 

• Reliable transportation to job sites. This position does not require a car, but is preferred. 

• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Expected to follow checklists and complete tasks efficiently without direct supervision.

• Respect for client privacy and property at all times.

Working Conditions

• Primarily indoor work in residential homes, including houses, apartments, and condos.

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and dust (protective gloves and masks provided if needed).

• Working in both occupied and unoccupied homes.

• Possible exposure to pet dander and household allergens.

• Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching to clean surfaces at various heights.

• Standing and walking for extended periods.

• Lifting and carrying cleaning supplies and equipment (up to 25-30 lbs).

• Performing repetitive motions, such as scrubbing, wiping, and vacuuming.

• May work alone or with a small team, depending on job assignments.

• Competitive pay with performance bonus up to 5% based on company performance.

• Hours based on scheduling of clients. The first weeks will be dedicated to training and hours established based on client requirements. 

• Sustainable Shine is a growing company and can not guarantee 35+ hours per week from start date.
